Leadership Track

Physicians are expected to lead, often early in training. The Leadership Track is a one-year program designed to build essential leadership skills for residents as they progress into practice. The curriculum begins with self-awareness, goal setting, and personal development, then expands to leading others through effective communication and team dynamics. Participants also learn to lead organizations through change management, quality improvement, and an understanding of financial drivers in healthcare. The track includes 12 asynchronous modules, regular mentorship, and three in-person sessions with local healthcare leaders. It concludes with a reflective presentation on applying leadership skills to future careers.
